Job Title: Assistant Professor - Exercise Physiology

Job Description: The Kinesiology Division within the School of Human Movement, Sport, and Leisure Studies has a tenure track opening for an exercise physiologist with research interests in stems/integrated physiology.  Our Division mission is to prepare specialists who will impact knowledge and skills and promote well-being through human movement.

Responsibilities: We are seeking a colleague who would teach and advise students in our undergraduate and
Master's level graduate programs, conduct research that would attract external funding and yield systematic
publication in refereed journals, and provide professional service.  Possible research interests that would            complement current faculty expertise include (but not limited to) energy cost of activities/metabolism; muscle
physiology/mechanics; lifespan exercise physiology.

Qualifications:  A doctorate in exercise physiology or a closely-related discipline; clear evidence of research potential; a commitment to quality instruction with evidence of teaching ability preferred.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
